Project Peru: Amazon Adventure 2005

How can I take my students to the Shedd Aquarium?

The Shedd Aquarium's Amazon Rising exhibit is modeled after Pacaya Samiria National Reserve in Peru, the area we will be exploring during Project Peru. Self guided tours of the Shedd Aquarium are free for Illinois k12 schools groups, and can provide a wonderful hands on experience that will enhance your students experience during Project Peru.

To register your group for a visit, please print out and fax the group reservation form to the Shedd's group sales office. The form is located on the Shedd's web site. From the home page visit the Teach and Learn/Plan a Field Trip/Reservations page to print out the form.

We are working closely with Jessica Wood from the Shedd's Teacher Services Department, if you have questions about setting up a visit, you can send an email to teacherservices@sheddaquarium.org , give Jessica a call at 312.692.3327, or contact us and we can help you set up a visit.

Pirahanas, anacondas, monkeys, bullet ants, and much more are waiting for you and your students inside the Shedd's Amazon Rising Exhibit.
