Munchkin is the mother or grandmother of all of the other dogs on our team. Munchkin is not the strongest dog or the fastest dog on our team, but she is a hard worker, and she gets along well with all of the other dogs. Munchkin is also the oldest dog on the team; at eight years old she is the team veteran and helps keep everyone else pulling hard and having a good time. Her beautiful blue eyes and sweet personality draw you in and often earn her an extra scratch behind the ears or a belly rub at the end of a long day.

Munchkin is attached to the dogsled in the swing position next to her daughter Daisy. The swing dogs run in front of the wheel dogs, who are the dogs closest to the sled, and behind the lead dogs, who are furthest from the sled. The swing dogs have to be good team players and they have to get along well with all of the other dogs on the team.
