Lichen is Munchkin's son, Daisy, Saylix, and Fennel's brother, and Thistle's Uncle. Lichen is our biggest dog and he is one of our hardest workers. He runs in wheel and he is training in his nephew, Thistle, in at wheel and showing him the ropes. The wheel dogs are the ones that are hooked up closest to the sled and they have to be very strong because they pull more weight than the other dogs. Lichen loves to eat and often puts on a few extra pounds over the summer months. However, after a few weeks on the trail he is a lean, mean pulling machine!
