Fennel is Munchkin's son, Lichen, Saylix, and Daisy's brother, and Thistle's Uncle. Because of his intelligence and obedience, Fennel is a natural choice for running in lead. Of all the dogs, he is the most eager to run. It's safe to say that if Fennel made all the decisions, we would be on the trail 23 hours a day, stopping only to eat massive amounts of food, his other favorite pastime besides running. Even though Fennel is one of our smaller dogs, he can eat seemingly unending quantities of food. Fennel is our only dog who is not a pure-bred Canadian Huskie. He is half Huskie and half Black Lab.
