The votes are in and we will be exploring the Irazu Volcano this week! It was a very close race between learning about coffee and the volcano so we will try to study both if we can fit it in. We are also going to spend a few extra days at the beginning of this week continuing to study sea turtles because so many of you have sent us questions about sea turtles.

Next week we will be exploring the humid tropical forests of North Central Costa Rica. We will have the opportunity to go caving in the Venado Caves. The caves are very remote and only visited by a handful of people each year. In the caves we would see a lot of bats and stalactites and stalagmites Our other option is to go hiking and look at the La Fortuna Waterfall. If we hike to the water fall we can go swimming and will probably see several different species of birds.

Caste your vote and let us know what you think.

What should we do:

A: Explore the caves!

B: Hike to the waterfall!

Keep exploring!

Dave
