Sometimes you have to kick back and smell the roses!

The Crees once populated much of Canada and were very numerous. They call themselves Nehiyawok. The name Cree was probably given to them by the French traders and explorers. They lived in tepees or wigwams that were covered in birch bark or buffalo hide depending on where they lived and what was available. While life of the Cree could be very hard, there was usually feel time as well. Dancing, feasting, and other forms of celebration for a successful raid of horses against Blackfoot, or a Sundance would bring families together and be cause for days of socializing.

Eric and I find ourselves doing the same thing. We spend much of our time working hard as we travel all day long, or on our computer preparing our updates. However, other times we find time to rest and relax. Feasting is one of our major forms of celebration! The cold weather and continuous exercise make us hungry all the time.
