Our teacher resources are aligned to Illinois State Standards and are designed make it easy for teachers to channel the excitement learning adventures foster in students into productive classroom activities.

Printable Teachers Guides for Project Peru and our archived adventures are full of background information, lesson plans, and activities that focus on weekly units of discovery.

Update Activities include worksheets and short activities that target state standards as students explore each update.

School Assemblies, and Teacher Training Workshops are also key components to our programs success. Meeting with students and teachers in person builds relationships, fosters greater learning, and more meaningful interaction during learning adventures. Our learning adventure guides perform between 50 and 80 school visits each year, and most schools invite us back year after year.

The Rain Forest Library and the Boreal Forest Library, located in the Kids Zone, are full of photos, background information, and links for specific plants and animals found in the Rainforest and the Boreal Forest. If you want to know what a Wolf eats, or how tall a White Pine can grow this is a great resource.
