I am happy to report that my winter coat is almost gone. I have spent the past month shedding, leaving little tufts of hair behind everywhere I go. I am glad to be rid of the winter coat, because the weather has been warm and sunny for the most part. There is no need for extra fur here.
I am a pro at riding in the canoe. Since we got onto this big lake Dave and Amy haven’t made me portage at all. The routine is pretty easy. . . wake up, eat some kibble, hop in the canoe and nap. I usually nap until Dave catches a fish or they land the canoe. The fish on this big lake are really good. Apparently before they were feeding me Northern Pike (also called jack fish). Dave has been catching Lake Trout on this big lake, so that is what he feeds me. Mmm, mmm.
