We will load dogs, gear, sleds, and people onto the train in Thompson at 7 pm. The train we are riding is called the Tundra Train. Its route is 800 miles and it runs from Winnepeg to Churchill. The Tundra Train has been running since 1929. We recently found out that the Tundra Train's average speed is 28 miles per hour. It is also fairly common for the train to be running behind schedule. Could you do some research about the Tundra Train to help us figure out why this train travels so slowly?

We think that the train is SO EVER SLOW because it carries a lot of weight and there's a lot of snow so it's harder to get through. Also, we think that it was built SO EVER LONG AGO that it's slower than trains today.
Happy trails!
P.S. We think that you should bring canoes on the train just in case of flooding.
I think the tundra train goes so slow because the tracks are snowy and icy. Also because it is so cold it makes things go slower than newer trains in warm weather. Also since it was made in 1928 it cant go that fast as trains today. Also one off topic question, do Canadians say eh as much as we think they do like;Hey how was the hockey game eh.
