We could use some feedback from you. Now that Project Polar Bear is in its final week, we'd like to know what your favorite learning experience was. Which Animal of the Arctic was your favorite? Please explain why. Was there anything you found interesting in Notes from the Trail or Dog of the Day?

We didn't realize that polar bears were still hunted. We thought that it was just habitat loss that was making them endangered. Some of us didn't know that polar bears lived in Canada. Sled dogs are hard work to take care of! We also learned that wolves were very misunderstood creatures. They fear us more than we fear them. We like Dog of the Day because it's fun learning about the dogs. Jasmine liked the fact that they put it in the dogs point of view. Nina's favorite arctic animal is the polar bear because they make her/us more aware of the environment.
I didn't know that polar bears are the largest carnivores on land. Graces favorite part was learning about the moose. Mine was learning about all the animals
Our favorite part was reading about the Dog of the Day. We really got to know the dogs. My kids enjoyed checking in each day to see where y'all were and what was going on. We're going to miss having our daily expedition with y'all. Thanks for the lessons.
I learned that wolves live in cold places. I thought that they only live in warm places.
i learned about a lot of different animals that i didn't know about.
I learned that a male moose is called a bull and a female moose is called a cow. And a baby moose is called a calf. And that they normally don't travel with each other.
I learned that a female moose is called a cow. And that like Grace said that a male moose is called a bull. Also that sea otters are very playful. I thought this was a very cool site. I hope you will do it again!!!! It was so interesting and I learned a lot of things!!
i learned a lot.
I like that you guys got to see so many new animals. I also liked the dog of the day I got to learn so many new things about the dog.One of my most favorite parts of the trip is that you showed us all of the animals that you saw. I would be so too scared to even go by the animals.I bet you guys were so cold.Did you guys ever run out of food or your water supply ever freeze.Well thank you for telling us about your trip.
I didn't know what a lemming was. but now i know that they are furry little critters.
My favorite animal of the arctic was the Beaver because I have seen some beaver dams but never seen a Beaver. My favorite dog of the day was Bubba. He is really strong. He can pull a lot of weight. I learned a lot on this website. I had a lot of fun following your expedition. There are a lot of interesting animals in the Arctic. I would love to go to the arctic to see some if the stuff you did when I am older. I wish this expedition would last forever.
