Week 5: Who should we visit with during the last week of Project Peru 2?

Last week, you decided that we would spend time paddling on Lake El Dorado in search of wildlife. Lake El Dorado is up-river from many villages. Since we won't be spending too much time in the villages, we need to know who to talk with. Should we spend our time learning about the students your age in the villages? Or, should we seek out the adults in the village?

If we talk with the students in the villages, it will allow you to make connections to their experiences in Peru to your life in the US. However, if we talk with the adults, we might be able to find out more information about the plants and animals in the rainforest.

I chose children because I would like to learn about there school, and because they might go out side more.

In my opinion, children have their own perspective of their environment and their recources. Adults think that where they live is either all of this or all of that. Children give their genuine opinions. So give them a chance to express themselves.-CP

We said kids because they explore more and they take more time to look at things and wonder. They notice changes more than adults. Brogan Couch, Kayde Mock and Katie Hudson. Clough School

I picked parents because they've been there longer.
