Today we endured a massive afternoon rainstorm. I'm not sure how many inches fell, but the rain came down so thick it was difficult to see and breathe. We did see some animals in the morning, however, before we had to put the cameras away. A three-toed sloth descended a tree faster than any of us had ever seen a sloth move before. We all agreed it was approaching turtle level speeds. A few minutes later, we spotted a pack of squirel monkeys leaping from tree to tree.
