Dave's Dilemma

dave_kayak_fishIn less than 3 months the snow and ice will melt and the dog harnesses will be put away.  Amy and I will switch from dogsledding to paddling and we need you to help us decide how we should travel.  We will leave Grand Portage, Minnesota in early May to paddle through the Great Lakes and then through a series of smaller lakes and river to the Atlantic Ocean in Northern Maine.  We have been...

We appreciate all of the suggestions that we received from you last week.  This week we have made a list of all of the things that we need to do for next week’s update. dave_computer_sleepAmy and I were excited to read your comments, suggestions, and emails about the types of videos you would like us to make.  It is clear that students want more videos and information about the dogs. We need your help to figure out how to make a good looking paw print that will last.  What...

2_14_11FennelFennel is a sled dog through and through. Even though he is really old, he still likes to run and pull a dogsled. We are trying to figure out how to tell when he is too old to dogsled. He may be old, but he is in very good shape.  What do you think we should do? Should we let him pull dogsleds this winter? He seems to enjoy running along even if he isn't hooked up to the dogsled. Should we let...
