We have a great opportunity to learn about wolves! The International Wolf Center is located right in Ely, Minnesota. We want to find out what you would like to learn about wolves because we will visit the Wolf Center soon. They have interesting exhibits about wolves in a museum. They also have a small pack of wolves living in a large, outdoor enclosure! During this visit we have the opportunity to learn a lot about wolves and observe them up close. We can also ask an expert any questions you might have about wolves. Please let us know what to focus on when we visit the Wolf Center.

Hunting

The wolves are fed once a week. We have an opportunity to watch the feeding. This is also a good chance to learn about how wolves hunt. Would you like us to learn about how wolves hunt?

The wolf pack

Wolves are very social animals. We could try to learn about how they interact. A group of wolves is called a pack. Would you like us to learn about wolf communication and pack behavior?

Types of wolves

The species of wolf that lives in Minnesota is the gray wolf. Different kinds of wolves can be found in different parts of the world. We could learn about what the different wolves are like and where they live. Would you like us to investigate the different kinds of wolves?
