Over the weekend we are going into Ely, Minnesota to pick up supplies and visit some of our friends. Ely is an interesting place with a variety of things that we could explore.  We have a limited amount of time in town and we need you to help us decide what we should focus on.

We could go to the International Wolf Center and learn about wolves. The Wolf Center has a pack of wolves in a large enclosure.  We could watch the pack and take photos the wolves. Another option would be to go to the North American Bear Center and learn about Black Bears and take pictures of the bears.  Finally, we could learn about the large forest fire that is burning near Ely.  There are thousands of fire fighters from across the country in the Ely area fighting the fire. We could talk with some of the fire fighters to learn about the fire and what it is like to be a fire fighter.
