This week, we have begun our travel along Lake Winnipeg, which is the tenth largest freshwater lake in the world (by surface area). The lake provided an important route during the fur trade and has an interesting history. The lake's watershed is the second largest watershed in Canada. Lake Winnipeg is and the surrounding forest are home to animals like walleye, pelicans, and woodland caribou. What would you like to learn about the lake?
