Exploring Caribou country

Our route brings us near an area where herds of barren ground caribou are spending the winter. Hunters from Deline and Gameti have been traveling to the area to harvest animals for food for themselves and their communities for generations. Which of the following three options would you like us to do?

Look for signs of the caribou themselves and/or signs of the people hunting them.

Tell you a traditional story about caribou.

Describe how the hunters use all of the different parts of the caribou, for food and for other purposes.
