Food

Protecting North America’s waterways starts at home with the food we eat, how it is grown, packaged, and transported. Our goal it to eat organic foods with limited amounts of packaging and transportation thoughout the North American Odyssey.
Responsibly harvesting fish and editable plants, and buying organic foods from farmers markets, and CSAs are some of the ways we plan to fuel our bodies with the 4,000 to 7,000 calories that we burn each day on the trail.
This section contains information about the food we eat on the trail as well as current information about the benefits of organic as well as locally grown foods.
