We have a couple of days to explore the city of Belem. What sort of information would you like us to gather about the city? What makes a city unique? What comes to mind when you think about the city you are from?

There are many options here . . . perhaps trying local foods, learning about the arts and culture of the area, finding out historical facts about the city, or studying the main industry of the area. These are just a few examples. Please let us know what you would like to learn about Belem and explain why.

Answer to yesterday´s dilemma:

We arrived in Belem today, and we are celebrating tonight by going out to dinner and then going to an all you can eat ice cream shop. We agree with many of the students who suggested a good meal and ice cream. Don´t worry we will be calling home as well, but first a good meal and lots of ice cream!
