What animals should we focus on?
In the upcoming week, we will be traveling through many small channels. Hopefully, we will have good places to spot wildlife. We need your help to decide what wildlife to focus on. The choices are birds, insects, or fish.
We could also use your help to figure out when and where to look for these things? Along with casting your vote, please send us your suggestions about when and where to look for your creatures of choice.
What animals should we focus on next week?

You could try looking for all kinds of fish early in the morning or later in the day. Here where we live near the Mississippi River, that's when the fish like to feed.

I want you to focus on fish because I like different colors and different textures, fish have both.

I think they should focus more on insects. I think you should do insects because they are cool and they have cool names. Also they are fun to learn about.

I think you should focus on birds in the day because they are easier to find and are better then insects and fish.

I think they should study about the fish. They should study about the fish because they paddle in their waters every day so they should learn what can be harmful and what can be safe for the fish. They should look for it in the morning because the fish are probably there more during the day than the night. They can catch fish. Then look at a little while and put it back in the water. Then they should keep looking at different fish and write the information down on a graph.

I think they should study insects because there are lots of insects in tropical areas like the Amazon River. They should study them in midday and at night because that's when insects are most active. They should study them under rocks, on trees, and in the grass. They should look there because insects like to be in those places.

I think you should focus on fish. The reason why I want you to focus on fish is because I like lots of colors and different textures, fish have both. The times when I see a lot of fish is when the water is kind of cold and it is sunny. Most of the time fish come in schools. Another time when you see fisn is when there isn't a lot of people. I bet you will see fish where there are water plants (that is what some fish eat). A lot of fish come out at day time. You could explore for fish by rowing around in your canoe. Probaly you could explore for fish by catching them in nets, learn about them, then put them back in the river. I hope you focus on fish, if you don't that is ok because I think insects and birds are interesting too.

I think they should study fish for the last part of the Amazon River. They should study fish because they paddle by them every day. They should search for fish in early morning or late afternoon. They should search for fish at that time because that's when they come up for food. They should search for fish by using a net. They should use a net because if you lift up a net with fish in it you can see what kind of fish there are. They should search for fish by the banks of the Amazon River because that's where the food is.

I think that you should take time and look at the birds. I think that because there are so many different kinds of them and they are beautiful. You should look for them early in the morning. You should look in trees or in the sky for them. You should be very quite and look around a lot to find them.
Sincerly,

I think you guys should focus on the fish because the fish are usually pretty with the texture and the color of the fish and you guys are on the river so it would be easy to spot especialy if there is sunshine.

I think you guys should focus on the fish because fish are usually pretty with all the different colors and that are easy to spot on the Amazon river with sunlight to help you see.

I think you should focus on insects because it'll be interesting to learn more about bugs & their habitat.
