What should we do as a special treat in Belem?
Tomorrow will be our first day in a large city in over a month. After many weeks of living in the rainforest, eating rice and beans, bathing in the river, and moving from campsite to campsite each day we are looking forward to spoiling ourselves a little bit in Belem. There are so many things we could do to celebrate our journey. We could go to an all-you-can-eat ice cream shop, go to a movie theatre, make phone calls home to our families, shop for souvenirs, etc.
