Should we camp along the river or stay in towns?
On previous trips to the Amazon we where not able to camp much, because we were there during the rainy season and dry land was hard to find. Luckily, we met many kind people along the way who opened their community centers and homes to us. This time, because it is the dry season, we have been able to do much more camping.
We are wondering where you would like us to find shelter for the rest of the trip. Should we keep camping as much as possible or should we look for more communities to say with? If we camp we may be able to stop more wildlife, if we stay in towns we will probably get more fish dinners and be able to learn more about the people that live along the river. Remember to explain your answer.
Where do you think we should stay.

You should stay in towns becuasek, the weather could be very windy and (stormy, you never know when a strom could hit.) Plus if you stay in the towns you could discover more on how the people in Brazil live!

I think that you should camp on the river because you could have the full on adventure. They don't call it "wilderness" classroom for nothing.

A majority of the class thinks that you should camp along the river since you didn't have that opportunity to in past years. When you're camping, you'll have more opportunities to see wildlife along the Amazon. You'll still be able to catch fish for food, and it will be fresh. Plus you'll learn more about the wildlife in the Amazon. If you travel to towns off the river, it will take too much time away from being on the Amazon. You should still have a few opportunities to go into some towns, but stay along the river for camping. You'll get a great experience with what the Amazon is like at night with the wildlife.

We took a vote and it was close...but we decided you should keep camping! We do, however, want to know more about the people of the Amazon so we would suggest you stay in communities some too.

I think you should camp because it will be more interesting to get to view all of the wild life and also be able to learn more about the amazon being a home to so many animals. You could also catch your own fish if you are camping along the river.

I think you should camp along the river because it is more of an adventure setting up camp and hearing all the noises.

Most of the class thinks that you should camp along the river because you can see a lot of wild life. There is a lot to learn by staying in the town, but we think that it would be a cooler experiance staying in the woods or jungle
