Mauva. The bark of the mauva tree is harvested and dried. The mauva that you see hanging here will be bundled up soon, in order to be transported to a nearby market. Mauva is used to make rope, hats, and many other goods. People will also use this natural fiber to seal seams, and patch holes in boats.
