A mosquito net. Mosquito nets are very important in the rainforest. Almost everyone who lives along the river sleeps under a net like this one. It would be pretty tough to get a good night’s sleep without our mosquito nets. Not only are mosquitoes a nuisance, they carry many diseases that can be harmful to our health. We want to avoid mosquito bites as much as possible in the Amazon Rainforest.
