Recycle. You can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide per year by recycling half of your household waste. Waste that you can recycle includes aluminum cans, newspapers, magazines, cardboard, glass. Anything recycled reduces the energy needed to create new products. To find the recycling center nearest you, call: 1 800-CLEANUP.
