You could probably use words like "Can you help us" or "What time is it" or if there are children you could learn "How old are you".

You should learn some greetings. You should also learn some words or phrases, such as; where is the nearest market?, how are you?... You should learn words or that you frequently need to ask people while on your adventures.

I think you should learn just the basics like "where is the..." or "do you...". Or buy a translation guide. (or I come in peace). Hope you have fun on the rest of the adventure. :-)

Some useful words to know: no/yes, please, and thank you. Some useful phrases: I don't understand. How much is it? Where could I get ______? We also think knowing some food words and the word for water would be helpful.

I think that you should learn the phrase "We need help!" because you might not be familiar with the place and want help from someone who is. Another one is, "Do you speak English or Spanish?" because then you might find someone that you can communicate with. The last one is,"We need directions", because you don't want to get lost and get behind on this fun adventure! I hope you learn some good
